However, for those who prefer a more robust solution, there are alternative methods to explore. Some homeowners, for example, employ the use of safety pins. Discreetly fastened to the underside of the mattress, these pins serve to tether the skirt in place, much like a ship secured to a dock.
Another option, particularly well-suited to wrap-around bed skirts, is to attach small strips of fabric-friendly adhesive to the underside of the skirt’s top edge. These strips, when pressed firmly against the box spring, create a secure bond that will keep the skirt from riding up or bunching.
